What is the Furniture Muster?
Over the past few months, Lighthouse Arts has been brainstorming ways to make our cottages feel more comfortable and welcoming for our resident artists and visitors. A major part of this involves gathering furniture, and this is where we need your help!
We’re seeking donations of good-quality furniture, decor, and homewares of all shapes and sizes. Whether it’s a cozy chair, a rug, a standing desk, or a shelf, anything that can make our spaces feel more like home will make a difference for our artists and visitors.
What furniture do we need?
We are currently looking for the following items, but if you have something to offer that isn’t on this list, feel free to submit it just in case.

- Room Dividers/ Tri-fold partitions
How do I donate?
Got something you’d like to donate? We’d love to hear from you! Just fill out the form via the link below and tell us about your item. Our staff will assess your item against our criteria and is a fit for the cottages and let you know via email if we can accept it.
Pick-up location, space and heritage restrictions may restrict what we can accept, and we may not be able to accept every item but we’re especially looking for chairs, desks, rugs, and shelves to help create a warm, welcoming environment for visiting artists and guests.
How do I deliver my item?
If your item is accepted, we’ll arrange for collection on either the 27th or 28th of October. Our staff (and a truck) will pick up the item from your location (as indicated on the form) between 10am and 4pm.
