It had been at least a decade since I believed that I could call myself a writer.
Projects:
I was able to draft and finish a short play for Woy Woy Little Theatre’s 2022 Flash Festival.
I was able to revisit my novel and work out how to integrate the various threads I’ve been weaving.
I also had fun taking photos.
Inspiration:
The other residents and the quiet setting were fantastic. Discussing ideas, issues we have and even observing the skills other creative arts residents made the experience magical.
Disappointments: Only one: my health stopped me attending but there is an opportunity to catch-up what I missed.
Every day was different and exciting.
